I had to watch this pretty closely because I was making sure that you were in fact using virtual tunnel interfaces that were in the same subnet as each other. It confused the hell out of me when you overlapped IPs because I paused the video before you had to do the troubleshooting. Anyway being that you are using tunnel interfaces I would assume that BGP should work Ok over the site to site VPN, but I guess I'll need to see if you ever did set that up. Appreciate you doing this video!

Hey Rob. I'm a complete beginner with SD-WAN. I found this series of yours on your channel. It's been four years since you completed it. I have a question. Have there been any changes in Viptela so far? Is it a good idea to start learning SD-WAN with Viptela? If so, then there are some new versions of it. I was able to find 19.2.3. Would you recommend using this version in EVE?

Is this only for mac address propagation between sites or can it also be applicable to inter vxlan routing between datacenters ,so in other words l3vpn across sites. Also , if you're interconnecting 4 DCs, would this approach be sufficient? Or would it be better to go with interfabric option 3

I followed your steps for Multisite Connectvity. I am receiving routes for vni 10010 on Leaf3 in AS65002 from AS65001. Also my BGW1 and BGW3 can see each other via ebgp and receiving all evpn routes but I can't ping from one site to the other. is there anything we have to do on DCI router.? Please assist.

Question for you for anyone passed my CNA in 2013 Plett that expire and now I’m going through the CNA again doesn’t seem nowhere near as interesting but I was mostly and telecommunications use some networking here and there but mostly just worked on telephone PBX that’s coming to a close I was wondering should I just go over the information for the CNA or and then just jump in into the NBAor actually get my certification get a job then start working on the CCP. I said I don’t need to take the CNA to three and I can jump into the correct certification.

Great video, you skipped the EVPN command set for the VLAN 20.

Great video Rob. A couple of comments: IR is less efficient than multicast, because IR replicate packets at the leaf (head-end replication), rather than on the spine. Which almost doubles the amount of packets sent out. for layer2 connectivity, when I need to connect to the legacy production network, I always ensure that the fabric has a lower STP priority so that it never becomes the root and allows for smooth migration. However, because the fabric does not forward BPDUs, Cisco recommends making the fabric the root once the legacy environment is decommissioned.
